I loved Eric Nylund's other two HALo novels, but this one just wasn't as engrossing. You don't have to play the game for reading experince of a sci-fi novel.

This guide is well written and put together in a fairly logical order. But allot of the higher end details that made the HALO 2 guide great are not included this time around.

is has to be one of the most fascinating and amazing collections of artwork I've ever seen... and it's from a videogame!

First Strike exceeds everything from the first two books, with a much deeper plot and brilliantly thought-out action sequences.
